My name is Dmitriy Nesteryuk, I am a software developer. I live in Zaporizhizhia, Ukraine. Since most of the projects suffer from inflexible code base, my main interest is flexible and maintainable code. I don’t try to write perfect code, I try to write code which allows me to add new features in reasonable time. Is it easy? Oh, no.
In spare time I like learning new technologies and approaches. It doesn’t mean we have to switch to them right away, but they are very good for inspiration.
I like working with:
However, it is only few things which I like. I cannot imagine the development of projects without TDD and SOLID.
My open-source projects
- SitePrism.Vcr - This gem allows integrating VCR into Site prism (A Page Object Model DSL for Capybara).
- Whisperer - Gem for generating dynamically VCR fixtures with Ruby.
- Sirko engine - A simple Elixir application tracking users’ navigation on a site in order to predict the next page to be visited by a user. The prediction can be used to instruct a browser to prerender the predicted page.
